One thing I noticed now (it might have been present in the previous firmware too but I did not notice it) is there now there are explicit references to an external SDK and the API now has 2 operation modes (SDK/non-sdk). It might even be that although not announced, this is already working! I am trying to see if I can use it and will let you all know if I do.
