didn't know where io could get a response or if I would. the logs are I guess because what I did was quit the app while it was flying and restarted the app hoping it would connect.
At least one of them are from November.
Edit: The top one is November. The last four are your troubled flight yesterday morning. It appears you launched and landed after a few seconds and shut the motors off. Then started them again which began your middle log.
You flew up about 300 feet almost straight up. It's not a good idea to fly straight up because the signals cannot read correctly at that angle. You lost connection but continued to climb. You regained connection at 450 feet above home point. Then that log ends. It might have ended because you closed out the app or the app might have crashed due to the difficulty reading the angled signal.
The fourth log shows you are at 880 feet altitude and close to home point and moving closer to home in RTH mode. Then the log ends after 4.5 secs.
The fifth log shows you are at 1650 feet altitude for reasons unknown. You apparently canceled RTH between the 4th and 5th log and the AC gained quite a bit of altitude. You successfully landed it.
I would check the calibration of your controller. Recalibrate as necessary. Then carefully test it at very low level in a large open field. Work all the sticks to be sure everything is okay. You might even tether the AC for the test to be extra sure your controller and Phantom's IMU is okay. Assuming everything checks out, in the future, I would not fly straight up like you did. You should fly out - not up - for ideal signal. See the video in the post above. Also, I would not fly in such a congested area. There is the potential for all sorts of different problems - technical and legal.
Good luck
