Got a weird situation going on, the DJI Fly app won't let me take off but the DJI GO4 app will let me fly my Mavic 2 Pro, has anyone come across that problem?
Yes it is! I can fly my Mavic 2 Pro with the DJI Go 4 app from my front yard. When I try and fly my Mavic Mini with the DJI Fly app, it comes back and tells me I can't take off. That's the problem.

What error message is DJI Fly telling you the reason you can't take off.
Yes, but DJI Go 4 asks me if I want temporary authorization. I get a text in 10-15 seconds with an authorization code then I can fly. DJI Fly App won't let me take off. Guess it's really dumbed down.

Right. It’s a known issue with the current DJI fly and supposed to be fixed by the end of December.
Hi. I am sorry for the trouble and thank you for reaching out to DJI Forum. For the unlock feature for the DJI Mavic Mini and DJI Fly application. As of now. I am sorry to say that the unlock feature is not yet available. We will be launching a new version of the aircraft firmware and DJI Fly application in late December to support the unlock feature for the no-fly zone. Please pay attention to the official announcement or kindly please visit our official website at www.dji.com. Please submit the unlocking request at that time. Thank you for your understanding and support.
The DJI Fly app requires 64-bit ARM v8 CPU capability. The DJI Go app accepts 32-bit, and thus most modern smart-phones. Apparently, DJI has stated they have no plans to upgrade the DJI Fly app to accomodate 32-bit operation (as the DJI Go app does).
