If you are having problems with your Mavic Mini please upload your flight logs so others in these forums can have a look at what the problem might of been.

It's very simple to do if you install the Airdata UAV App.

1) Firstly in the DJI Fly App click on Profile at the bottom then settings then Syn Flight Data and set Auto-sync Flight Records to on.

2) Install Airdata UAV App on your mobile device.

3) Now follow the instuctions here https://app.airdata.com/sync-app-server

Without flight logs it's very hard to help becuase of the lack of data.

i am always surprised when people write a short OMG what happend story ; ends with HELP and no link to a flighlog in the text. Hard to help or discuss without data 'proof'

3rd party software in case of analysing issues has nothing to do with compatibilty and stability I think But ok, offers DJI an equal way ? In the flyapp I can play my course but nothing else, mmmh.

You often loose connection and returning to home was initiated, you VERY often have pulled the left joystick, so you have sunk. Or do you have a custom mode at remote controller ? In 3:44 you initiate a RTH, but the drone drifts in another direction. Sure that your homepoint has been updated at start ? But nevertheless you have had many ESC errors during flight. The reason for this seems to be a big mystery, because many pilots report of this. And there is currently no solution. Maybe it has improved since the firmware update, but there are still enough incidents.

I've lost control after 2min, try to comeback by sport mode - unsuccessfully, RTH - unsuccessfully. I was trying to land because Mini were flying into valley - this is way left joystick were pulled.When Mini was behind trees with altitude below home point, I've started to loose connection, then RTH were started, altitude go up and still fly away, so another attempt to land somewhere and another connection problems etc.

Yes and it was about 80m above ground in place where Mini lost connection. 1350m away from HP.

was there strong wind? Looks like Mini was unable to return home and kept drifting away at a few mph

he did start from lookout point on top of hill, I think there was wind@play - so drone did not have enough power to comeback. when You fly away from starting point drone was higher over ground (fly over valley) - so even stronger wind did hit it... direction of drift fits to wind direction (from airdata). And when drone went d/c and auto-RTH, no sport mode, for sure it was 2 weak to comeback :/

Take off with no problem, took some picture of viewpoint during first minute at height 20m - No problem with keeping Mini in position. I've start to make video of the viewpoint (with height still 20m) and changed to Sport mode because I realize that Mini didn't react to the change position of sticks.

The weather did not raise any objections, before flight I was on this viewpoint which is several meters high, gentle breeze didn't raise concern.

You can see on video (speed of video about x4) that something happend in 14sec of video.
Also in ~25sec Mini was on the level of treetops. (I wish that Mini stopped on a tree) You can see how the branches moved but I do not think that this was something beyond the possibilities of the Mini.
Lost control of Mini was not above valley but at level of HP.

Hiya,

Had a look at your flight too.

At 3m43 you initiated a RTH, distance out 340 meter.
In the RTH mode distance did not decrease but drone went further away.
At 5m21 distance out 671 meter, you cancelled the RTH

After that more of the same... see my charts.

At 7m11 a RTH due to connection loss. Flying at - 134 meters, as the RTH height is set at 30 the mini want to climb, after reaching RTH height it will fly home.In no wind situations it will cost lots of time to climb, this batt power can be used to fly home manually.
Distance out 736 meter and after 50 seconds 784, in this period stick down so 10 seconds.

What mayby could have saved your mini was at the first RTH and see that distance not decreasing, cancel RTH and swith to Sport mode, fly manually to home with full stick forward.And if possible (guess not) lower the craft to find possible less head wind.

I can't understand why after RTH Mini changed mode. Before RTH it was S but after cancel RTH it changed to P. I didn't noticed it during this f(l)ight..
I was sure that during this flight S was since I have turned it after first minutes. I was surprised when I saw logs.

The mode before the first RTH was P-GPS, before CineSmooth and before that Sport.
So at cancelling RTH it was P-GPS again, during rest of the flight as well.

where can you finds the text logs to upload? I have a mini and the fly app. I can view the footage and the gps map view, but how can i access the kind of logs you speak of?

Thats the gps map I was talking about. so that is the text log that can be decoded?

I personally find the PhantomHelp log viewer to be much more useful when investigating logs.

It's so annoying. Every flight the same situation and every time it's falling down. doesn't matter it's calibrated or not that's log from
two different days but the same problems.

I don't no why, but I can't add url "Sorry, you do not have permission to post the URL connection" so I'll give you screenshot for now
