I did it!!

In light of the recent price drop i have finally commited and bought the Mavic 2 Pro!!!

Had it a week, not flown it once sadly!!! Been held back by weather, the lack of bag and memory card and now my Samsung s10 is in for repair so could be going better haha!! Got the extra flymore pack for it for a mere £300!!!!! Then got the sd card and bit the bullet and sent my brand new faulty mobile phone back to phone shop for repair sooooooooooo by next Tuesday i should FINALLY be all set!


So wondered if anyone had any tips or advice?

I still miss my little spark..........

Congrats on your new AC. Don’t forget it’s got 8gb of internal storage. As for tips. I’d recommend the polar pro gimbal guard. It won’t damage the camera like the one with it does.

Thanks very much!!! Exciting times, oh wow thats awesome! I've had major dissapointment in the past when i've left the sd card at home and had to abandon my plans! Ok thats great thanks will look into that! Guess the polar pro ND's are pricey but needed.... will look em up!

Take a look at Freewell they do a pair where you twist a ring to set the exposure and they are about £50 for the set.  I have both and the Freewell ones are just so much easier to use.

The 8gb saved me for the first time just the other day,  I was half way to where I was going to fly and realised I didnt have a card.

Haha yeah they really are!! Plus with Polar Pro i'd want the full set for 250 dollars!!!

tip1 = RTM
tip2 = RTM again

tip3 = always perform Pre takeoff checks
tip4 = always perfomr After takeoff checks

tip5 = enjoy!

Id also consider changing the gimbal guard, the one if comes with is know to mark the camera housing and its fiddly to use IMHO.  The one I have is below, its liked with foam so it won't scratch the camera.

Congratulations sir. I bought a M2Z a few months back and absolutely love it. You might want to consider some landing leg extensions depending on where you fly. I use the Polar Pro ones and have experienced zero issues. Good Luck !

Thanks very much indeed!! Looking forward to actually giving it a try...... Fingers crossed my phone will be back from repair today so i can finally have my first flight!!! I'll definitley check the polar pro legs out much appreciated.
