Depends on your budget, things have gotten a lot cheaper in the last few years.
If you want the Tesla of printers you could look at an Original Prusa but not a lot of people want to step into a printer for 700+, with the embrace of printers from Ender and Creality you can get decent printers for around 200/300 but they lack a lot of smart features. Each revision has adopted features that other top printers come out with but there's nothing like having the original one instead of the clone.
For 349us/379eur the Prusa mini is really hard to beat, do you need everything the Prusa does? No but for a budget/starter printer this is the safest/simplest option. I know how simple a Ender or other can be if your techy but it's everything about the Big Prusa but in a smaller form factor.
Not an AD but if you suggest something to someone, a prusa is way less of a headache then an ender or other can be for a novice. |
