I read different opionions about how to point the antennas of the controller to the aircraft.
As I do not have the opportunity to measure the exact signal-strength, it would be good
to get clear statement from the DJI-crew.
They should be at 90 degrees to the controller, of you have them out straight they would just be sending most of the radio signal into the sky or ground.
Hello and good day UweE. Thank you for reaching out and for the inquiry. I will be posting an official DJI tutorial video on DJI Remote Controller Antenna Best Practices for you to be able to utilize your DJI Remote Controller properly. Thank you.
Thanks for all the tipps.
I was not aware about the existence of a manual
Any, I saw a lot of posts and videos, where users are complaining weak signal during the starting phase.
They always lift their drone above their heads, so all the given comments here might help, not only me.
You are very much welcome UweE. If you have any other inquiries or concerns with DJI. Please feel free to post it here at DJI Forum. We are all here to help and support you. .
I think the best thing to keep in mind is to keep the flat side of the antenna's pointed toward the MM. Both videos that has been shared depict very good advise on how to direct the antenna's for optimal signal reception and transmission.
