I have noticed that since the last firmware .300 there seems to be no warning in the App of high wind.

Also would help if the firmware switched from mode P in RTM to mode S when it was drifting away during RTH.

DJI need to address these issues before christmas, because afterwards there are going to be a lot of new pilots out there.

I have to agree, without a way to tell if it´s drifting, RTH is too slow and the cause for many blow aways.
Do not rely in RTH if you can.

You would think in RTH, the drone would use 100% power in attempt to get home.  

I have the latest firmware and it definitely warns me of high winds.  Something along the lines of "Strong winds - attempt to land immediately"

Sounds like they increased the high wind warning threshold.

It's possible although i never fly it in any wind stronger than the stated 8m/s (at ground level anyway). England at the moment is a case of fly it carefully at lower altitudes while the weather sucks

Tell me about the UK weather,  Im in Essex and almost every chance I get to fly lately the weather is against it.

Annoying isn't it!  Weekend was windy and now it's monday and i'm at work, it's calm out there. Took it to Canterbury recently and it was too windy the entire time.  Looking forward to the UKs 3 days of summer next year to take it out

I managed a short flight on Saturday to survey the repair of a burst water main on a relations property, but it was too windy to take it any distance.

There is still high wind warning since last FW, none of dji drones allow you to fly home in sport mode , you can get higher speed from Mavic mini by using your elevator right stick, you can also lower the craft if you think there is strong wind , you cannot change the orientation of the craft, you can land or cancel, except in the case of loosing radio signal .

Not sure what y 'all talking about . This was filmed yesterday I received ( High wind  warnings ) but sense I was testing how it does in high winds I ignored and it did fine . if new pilots Liston to the warnings it gives and land, they shouldn't be much of a problem

The same is the case down south, thought I will fly this weekend with the sun being out but wind was too strong to even think about it, 30-40 mph at ground level.

Haha, yea I also think that DJI was downright sadistic releasing Mavic Mini in the middle of November...
Most of the weekdays I get home after the dark and on weekends it is either windy or raining.  (Since the ~14. November I've had a chance to fly for around 3hrs in total)

I think Christmas may determine some of these releases although not sure there will be any stock left for this Christmas lol

Also the environment in the area is just "ugh" in this time of the year...
Snow is nowhere to be found, leaves have long fallen, and everything is either in shades of brown or gray...

That's dji Sync bug - in reality the number inside the dji fly app is 82 000ft (~25km)

Most likely caused by duplicate uploads and no unique key validation (flight start timestamp and length should be pretty simple to implement)

Didnt iknow there was a bug, apart from a few flights I deleted mine matches pretty close.

I fly mine with care. Though the strong winds warning scare me !
