Any Chance of Getting RAW shoot mode in Mini? .dng is better to manipulate. For Color and shadow, highlights .dng is way advance than JPEG.

In my country it is winter now. and photos comes to bad in color I must say.
Also, any suggestion to improve the photo/ video color? it would be a great help. <3

Probably not. It is why DJI make the M2Pro, if you want upscale features, pay the upscale price.

Air has DNG, and is cheaper than M2Pro. Problem is that M2Pro has disadvantages against Mini (size, legal rules) so its's not only about price. And if someone wants only some sw features and don't want better sensors, more engine power, better radio, higher size and weight, then M2Pro is overpriced. And if MM is presented as "Flycam" and not as toy ("big" dron in toy rules cathegory) then better photo features (raw, better exposure settings, flat) from "big" drones are logical request.

Wish at least get some decent quality photo.

The Other side. Some adjustment may change the condition a bit.

Of course not, the managers left it for the Mavic Mini 2 version!

Not tried yet. gonna try soon. but tried to push its range also, very disapointed.

im confused by people buying a product that doesn't have a feature they want and them complaining it doesn't have that feature.

you can get quite decent results by manually taking multiple shots at different exposures and then merging them

Your first image is amazing.   was that three or 5 shots?

Raw would be good, I don’t think so, so maybe some extra manual features for camera .

You really need to underexposed for the sky , it’s not easy, you will see first picture low light there were some nice clouds but I couldn’t retrieve them.
Second picture really good light clouds I still underexposed but they came up ok

Definitely AEB, but manual, is a nice way to increase dynamic range, not RAW but good enough, here you can see my 3 stacked HDR tests: https://forum.dji.com/thread-203260-1-1.html

If they dont add RAW, AEB is a must,I don't agree you have to get a M2 for that.

I think AEB modes would be fair and not heavy on CPU if they don't merge in drone.

Absolutely stitching or stacking much better to do in third party software, AEB seems easily doable.
Alternatively, release SDK lol

I doubt they will release an SDK as they will loose control of the features and then they run the risk of reducing sales of higher models.

In terms of features, you make a decision at the time you buy. If you want cheap, then you get lesser features. If you want good, then buy a better drone. You don't get to buy a cheap drone then expect it to have features added to it by software upgrades.

What is better drone if I want only better sw features with same size and weight as Mini? DJI didn't present Mini as cheap toy without features, but as EDC flycam for creators in low weight law category. Mini looks like beta product (compatibility, zone unlocking,...) and miss some features for this. Adequate price for this is relative.

I don't think it's complaining, it's just a "want". I want it too. No harm in asking. If you don't ask, you will never get.

It was not released as a finished product.  Features have been added to other DJI products so its not a stretch. Osmo Pocket had many features added after launch. DJI is listening and has developed based on what people have been asking for. The Mini is capable of more.

Firstly, as dutch937 said, its just a "wnat", not must!
Another thing is, i think, I paid a good amount for which I can request RAW. Professionals will go for higher price drone, but amateurs like me who are just entering in photography or drone tech, they may ask for well manuvering features which will help them to learn. if they do not get a chance to use things manually how you learn. MM is not a toy, its an entry level drone as i know.

Denny-R, yes, precisely it is the poluted air of Dhaka. My city became too unhealthy.  Population and on going megabuild projects are making the environment much bad and dusty.
However, someday before I visited St. Martin's Island, bangladesh. The end point of our land. The place which have no polution. <3 sharing couple of photo over here.

Hmm... But doesn't all digital cameras use the RAW data from the sensor (take RAW photo) and then the camera just makes an jpeg conversion of that RAW file?  I don't believe that it would be a big deal to allow to save in RAW dng.

Sorry Gamora, but if the MM don't have the capability of shoot RAW, it's a DJI decision limited by software. The hardware can bring all RAW photos (come on, smartphones have RAW too... it's not big deal) but DJI can't see that with RAW support, MM will be growth in sales.

We need RAW! I don't need a bigger drone, sensors, miles and miles of distance. We need THE SMALLEST DRONE like MM, but with JPG + RAW. As an amateur photographer, it's a nonsense. I have many drones, but I will not carry in my travels these huge aircrafts only to achieve a RAW file...

I bought MM with hope that DJI will add RAW support to MM. It's a HUGE fail, because  it's not a toy, and it's not used by little boys... we need more flexibility to achieve decent pictures!
