I bought one of those even before I got my mini, didn't fly far but I noticed in my flight logs. that signal strength between RC and AC was always at 100%
For peace of mind when having to cover a long distance, or for areas with a lot of interference this is definitely an interesting add-on.

That's great when the drone is 10' away & you know exactly where it is.  Wonder how it works in the real world from hundreds or a thousand feet away *IF* you even know a drone is around & can spot it?

In that scenario, I'd go down the jammer route and directly target the frequency

First of all, thank you and congratulations for your many tests (nd filters, range extender..)
But, on this one I saw an issue: the agl is not the same on your 2 tries: the second try is more than 2 times higher than the first.. this voids the test, imho, because wifi propagation is much better as you climb, even without a range extender, don't you think ?
It's a pity because your test was really interesting and well realised (except this little detail)
I'm still looking for a neutral test: same track, same agl

Ofc the parabolic relfectors work. You can make it even better if you put on the yagi extentions too.
