Did you select HD quality in YT?

You are correct in that you don't need to go up high in order to get beautiful footage. Your video makes the viewer feel like they are floating through the trees.

Thanks, mate! Yes I just cover sensors by piece of electric tape

Nice footage there, what's the bitrate you used for the Youtube footage?  Seems like the compression is high.  Try 56000kbps for the export, much cleaner results.

Wait....  How did you manage to tilt up in the first shot?? The gimbal doesn't allow tilting up.

Haha, go to DJI Fly app gimbal settings and check (up tilt or something checkbox) Same as on your Mavic 2 and Mavic pro ))

Best of all I find 1:00 to 1:14. Why ? In in almost every footage you only see forward flying, the viewer knows in advance what is coming. Not so when flying backwards, something new always comes into the picture. Therefore: Great ;-)

Darn, I should have thought about it...  the DJI Fly app is so minimalist that I never thought they would have included the option.  Thanks for the tip!

(Only one flaw: Don't export video with letterboxes please - My ultrawide monitor has the same aspect ratio as your presented footage, but since there are letterbox at top and bottom, I have actually black bars on all sides )

Also This kind of breathtaking video shows how the YT compression sucks

Big thanks, yes I do like this quite often I even covered downward sensors with piece of tape to make shots like this, and I did not use propguards

Thanks, letterbox is not flaw, I use it on purpose, As for me It gives more widescreen “cinematic “ feeling ;)
