When you start, before the connected drone, the DJI Fly program has a choice of actions when you lose connection with the remote (menu-Safety-Advanced Setting-Signal Lost), it can be - "Return to home", or "Descend", or "Hover". When you connect a DJI Mavic Mini drone, the choice of this setting is lost in the DJ Fly program.
Unfortunately, because of the strong wind, I was not able to take off on MM.
Perhaps this menu item will appear when taking off mm, and you have this menu item?
There is only one procedure for loosing remote signal in the Mavic Mini which is returning to home. This option you see when the Mini is not connected to the app is probably for future support of the fly app with legacy drones.

You mean that the RTH is the default option for signal lost whatever you have choose in the app when it is not connected to the MM, right?

Hi there, thank you for your feedback. The screen you see is the initial interface of DJI Fly. After connecting the Mavic Mini, it will refresh corresponding to the Mavic Mini. At present, when Mavic Mini loses signal, it will return to home only, no other option can be selected. Thank you for your understanding and support.
