If you are tired of checking for firmware newer then 2019-12-04 and you are a iOS 13.3 user then you are in luck.

Below is a link to an iOS shortcut that will access the DJI Mavic Mini Download page and check to see if the Mavic Mini Release Notes date has changed from 2019-12-04.

You will get an alert if the date has not changed from 2019-12-04 and if it has changed the Mavic Mini Download page will be displayed for you so that you can view the new release notes.

After you put the shortcut on your iOS device you can have it add an icon to your home screen to run it if you want.

have no plans to download the software on day one so i don't need to know the minute it is posted.

i don't have THE problem so i can wait for everyone here to check it out first.

also if i couldn't wait to get new software from all my devices, i'd be frustrated everyday.  just need to be patient.

Thankfully waiting is not such a problem when you have a large hangar!

I've actually been doing the shortcut myself. Shortcuts are really great for this and things like this.

So if I understand you correctly you will make a New Year's resolution to eat less and fly more. Is that what you are saying?

My upgrade went well. App, Mini, RC and all three batteries got updated.

I also updated my iOS shortcut to look for the next firmware release notes.
