I didn't know the DDE and SSO settings were inside the User mode palette settings.  This was taken in total darkness.

I don't really have any problems w/ what I have already but any refinements found on newer models that can be passed down through the older models w/ no effort would be nice.

Having the ability to make the live feed screen smaller because on the iPad 7th gen, everything is very blurry.

There are no newer XT (V2) models.
If you are meaning that some of the XT2 'refinements' are being updated to the old XT, well, then you have not understood the differences between the 2 model series.

If you want to play with the grown-ups, get a Matrice (200 series or 600) and put an XT2 underneath.
If you want to play with the big boys get a Workswell WIRIS camera. (M600 or similar needed)

You are aware that the XT output is 640 x 512? Feeding that resolution into a 2,160 × 1,620px iPad 7th gen screen  some upscaling has to be done. Hence the blur - if that is what you mean.
Remedy: Get a smaller screen (iPad mini 5)

They have an XT1 V2 that requires a DJI hardware modification and a mount to attach and use on the M200 platform.  The ebay seller sold it to me did this.

The remedy is not to get a smaller iPad.  It's get get the screen region smaller by pressing a button that toggles the sizes.

The Inspire 1 and XT with everything I have only cost me $4k.   The M210 XT2 w/ no extra accessories would cost at least $17k.  I do not have jobs or the current capital that would warrant such a purchase.  Seeing thermal data with no purpose kind of sucks.

Maybe if I join up during fire fighter ops or post-disaster sites it would be worthwhile to have but they might say we don't need it or, it will impede their work.

- XT V2 (if an older XT model is used, an upgrade to V2 is necessary to use it on an M200)
- a Gimbal adapter ring

I suggest you sell all your equipment and get an M600 with either a Ronin-MX gimbal or a Gremsy gimbal. Then it's up to you what kind of camera you are using. If it's your Sony or a RED camera.  If it's a XT, XT2 or whatever you need depending on the jobs.
