has anyone been able to use RPM/directional dshot with the DJI system- specifically the T motor f55a

No problem at all with RPM. But I don't have T-Motor ESC.

Works for me, but I'm not using T motor, but I don't think that would matter.

What issues are you seeing?  RPM filters and bi-directional dshot should be independent of the DJI system.

5zero7rc - i simply don't have the option- this is true for a rotor riot HD1 flashed from 3.5 to 4.1 as well as on a brand new build I referenced above- here is a pic

Did you flash ESC firmware that supports RPM?
T-Motor is BLHeli_32, so you must have at least version 32.7.0.

Is that the latest version of the betaflight configurator?

yep 10.6 on configurator

The last thing I can think about is, that you are using a F3 Flight Controller instead of a F4 or F7. As far as I understand it, F3 does not support bidirectional dshot.
Maybe you try to look for help anywhere else where you can find more people flying betaflight.

I have the T-Motor F45A V2 and a F7 FC and have no problems with RPM/directional dshot.I think you need this Version

Was the Flight controller on that version when you got it or did you update it? I purchased an iFlight controller and the settings were all messed up until I flashed the firmware myself.
