I am just wondering if there is a download speed limit on the Mavic Mini, when trying to download footage it downloads at 2mbps, while by internet supports 1000mbps. Is there a way to increase the speed or am I limited to that?

You mean download from Mavic via the RC controller? Mine is around 2 MBits too, so that seems to be the maximum transfer speed capability of the Mavic Mini.

Can you clarify what you mean with "by internet supports 1000mbps"?   Please provide more information on how you are downloading.  Such as details on path between Mavic Mini and to what device.  There are many factors that can effect internet speeds.

Do what everyone else does and pop the SD card, put it in a $3 USB adapter and put that in your computer.
Any other way is messy and very slow.

I second that !!!

Speed of downloading video content from Drones to phones highly relies on the bandwidth of image transition.  
Phantom 4P--->10M/bandwidth--->downlaod speed:1.25M/s  
Mavic 2--->40M/bandwidth---> Downlaod speed: 5M/s
Mini---> 4M/bandwitdh---> See the difference! Thats how the slow speed come.

That is the best way, only remeber to put it back before you leave your home

It's interesting how often people mistake wifi and what that means.  Downloading from the drone to your phone has NOTHING to do with your internet connection.  It's device to device.

microSD cards are cheap, buy a second card, and swap.

When you remove microSD card from drone, replace it with other microSD card.  You will never have to worry about forgetting and not being ready to take pics & vids.

Agreed, not enough sd cards

My mini was downloading about 5mbs earlier now its less than 1... whats happening?
