Using the osmo mobile II my wife recorded a ton of footage that stayed on her phone. recently she begged me to help her free up space on her phone and we tried deleting a BUNCH of footage using the dji go app, but none of it freed up any space. I figured there was a caching issue, that the app had the videos copied in a cache directory. Looking at some topics on this forum confirmed this as many people advised "clearing the cache".

Well I did this, and what do you know, ALL her videos are f*cking gone. "Clear Video Cache" does not clear a hidden "Cache" of videos, it deletes your ACTUAL VIDEO LIBRARY!!!!  WTF!!!!!!

HOW COULD DJI HAVE MESSED UP AN APP THIS BADLY??

I plugged her phone into my macbook pro and located the hg300 folder. It only had 5 videos in it. I explored every other folder. The videos are just gone.

ANY hope here on recovering this stuff? THe problem is that after this happened she spent a day filming stuff on her phone which probably over-wrote a lot of data.
