Whatever palettes you had selected is what records.  It's not possible to change it after.

Yeah, but I'm not sure the purpose of using the others so I just keep it black/white hot.

The blue - yellow gives more clear indications of temperature.
At least, that is what I have heard about it.

I wasn't doing any inspection so flying for fun, the black/white is the best.

Yeah, it has the DJI standard telemetries and others but it doesn't have RGB image so you fly in FLIR the whole time.  The XT2 can but that is triple the price.

I have only used ground FLIR camera's and those did have a regular image too.

One of my friends has a installation company and he uses it quite often.
Also on a drone.

I would use it quite often for many things which is why I got it but it's basically where, you can spot damage and can't do anything about it, you spot no damage, what's the point of even inspecting?

Capturing the clouds was pretty amazing as it was total darkness outside.

He uses it to spot for problems in electronics etc. which usually lead to heat buildups.

Well, we had a blue - yellow heatmap so I'm referring to that.
It was a very cold day (winter) and we had the heater on inside.
Now when using the FLIR I could take pictures of the house and most of it was blue / purple except for some spots that turned red , orange or even yellow.
Those were the parts I had to work on the insulation.

Yeah, but that was with the extremes where the cold spots were super cold and the hot was super hot out of the microwave.  When capturing the outside of a building, the extremes aren't so extreme but I didn't do a live factory outside though.

It works best when it is rather cold outside (below zero celcius)
