I would like to ask if I can change the RTH point during flight.
For example, if I take off my MM and I walk behind it and I find  a nice spot to stand (200m away from the original RTH point).  Is there a way to setup this new point as a new RTH point?

I'm real new to the drone world but this idea sounds worrisome to me. I would think that for a given flight, we would want RTH to be immutable. If you find a better spot, land there and start a new flight to pick up the new RTH.

I haven't tried that, but I believe that you may be able to. The option to update the home point is there and I had plans on trying that on my next flight, if I get to do it some. Been too much wind here lately for me to fly.

I have reset RTH numerous times while flying from my boat.  Just go into settings menu and to safety tab.  I also take off and land via my hand while out on my boat.  Works great.

That's probably because it isn't there in our version of the software. He may be a beta tester and have a different version that us possibly. That would be one explanation.

All you do is press the "update the home point" where ever you drone is at the time, check the "updated home point" and there you go!! Of course you need to hear "home point updated" first

Of course, but Jody and I are missing the menuitem "shortcuts" ... perhaps Flytpath has bought this feature ;-) hey, would be an idea for the future ... like in other apps...you may buy extra features, so you only pay for what you really need.

Drone GPS

In DJI go4 you can change HP to the Mobile device position.

It look like now for the MM (fly app) you can set the HP by picking a new postion in the map view.

yes, just try it yourself...

fly away 50 meters from your postion, set HP there, fly back to your postion and activate RTH...
see what happens

You can even update the Home Point while  the Mini is already in the process of Returning-to-Home.

What if you define a new RTH point 100m away from it? I guess it will go there if you press the RTH button after that.

In a way maybe you can use it as a "Go to a way point" function (and just cancel landing)

yes did....

start > 50 meters fly away, set HP there > fly back 50 meters > press RTH....
so at press RTH drone is 50 meters away
