I've owned the Mavic Air for a couple of years now. I don't use it that much anymore but have plans this year for it. Hence I've been testing it out. BUT as the title suggests:
Recording video is dog sh**! Its all stuttery as you can see in this video:
I am on all the latest and greatest firmware.
The issue occurs wether I am using my Huawei P20 Pro OR iPhone 7. I have tested video recordings to my SD Card AND Internal Storage. It is the exact same, so this is not an SD Card issue.
The SD card is SanDisk Extreme, 32GB, MicroSD V30 HC 1, U3, A1
I have another issue where my controller sometimes disconnects from the drone and I believe its related to the Huawei as the iPhone didn't disconnect yesterday. I think this is a seperate issue though, so would primarily like to solve the stuttery video issue first.
So I used DJI Assistant 2 and here are my findings:
- Refreshed Firmware of Mavic Air to (the latest): V01.00.0620
- DJI Assistant 2 cannot pick up the controller whilst it is connected via (official) USB cable (USB 3 Slot). Windows constantly makes that 'USB Connect / Eject' sound.
After the Firmware was refreshed, it still struggles to record:
(updated video in my office)
I downloaded all (5) available log files for the Mavic Air (past 4 flights. The most recent flights were in my office, just testing recording):
- Flight Record & Sensing
- Navigation
- Gimbal
- Camera
- System
