there was probably an icing of the blades which caused a loss of lift

One possible problem is that the engine is not designed to work in the -5 degrees temperature (according to specs)

0° to 40°C (32° to 104°F)

What's the point of asking a question, making even a nice video to illuastrate what happened without flight logs? Please, when you have any sort of a problem, question.. post your flight logs. That's the only way to get a proper answer and also to help all of us understand what might happen in certain sitiations. To me this looks like many times reported uncommanded altitude loss and possible firmware bug. Please share your log through airdata or even better phantomhelp.

the engines work fine even at -7, but the fact that the propellers are icing up is a fact

-7 on itself doesn't say much. Humidity plays a huge role.

Dumb question got a dumb reply, and then the dumb reply got a dumb reply.

It's a vicious circle!

Prime culprit would be ice buildup on the props.

I'll add my vote for icing conditions causing ice build up on the props.  Flying through a cloud at any temperature is a bad idea.  Flying through one at a temperature below freezing is very likely to cause icing.

But with condensation forming on circuit boards, all sorts of problems are likely, too.  These drones are not sealed, and they are electrical devices.  There are waterproof drones available, but the Mini isn't one of them, unfortunately.

Doesn’t make sense should have been the other way around.

Hello and good day German DroneTV. I am sorry for the trouble and thank you for reaching out.  Just a friendly reminder that the DJI Mavic Mini's Operating Temperature Range is from 0° to 40°C ( 32° to 104°F ). In addition I will post an official DJI tutorial video on how to fly in cold and hot weather. Thank you.
