Got my Mavic Mini a month ago but haven't had time to fly it until now. 2nd flight today. Noticed some spontaneous changes in elevation while just hovering. Anyone else experience this with the Mini.


Here's some pics I captured beforfe the sun went down at 4:55pm. Can't wait for these days to get longer and have more chance to capture with my new drone.

Yes, we get quite a few trains through town every day.

BTW, I filmed the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train last month but I've been too busy to edit the footage. I'll make sure I send you a link when I get it done.

They are not HDR. I downloaded them to my phone then added a little contrast in Google photos. I was on the go and it was the best I could do in the short amount of time I had.

Thanks Woe. With only a few Mavic Mini flights under my belt, it seems that the camera is very capable for a micro drone, but is more subject to getting tossed around in the wind compared to heavier drones like the Mavic, M2P, and Mavic Air.

I'm still considering getting the Mini

Cool pics!  That first one reminds me of a NASA pic of a distant planet or moon.

Very nice pictures. Would love to see the video of the holiday train as well.

Just build a new editing PC and am installing software right now. It's on my list of videos to edit when I get this all up and running.
