I picked up a Pixel 2 XL for $105 US for my grandson to use initially.  He has since starting using his dad's "old" Note 8.  Both are android and work quite well.

I  am using a used Samsung Galaxy G6 that I got for $72 on eBay. It works perfectly but it has a bit smaller screen size than some of the others (6" versus 6.5").

xiaomi redmi note 7 - 120€

Does anyone know if Moto G7 Power will work? 4GB ram and 64bit cpu.  Almost the same price as xiaomi and samsung, but with better battery

Does the Alcatel joy tab 2 works with FLY APP? How bout GALAXY A52 5G phone? If neither one works can someone recommend the best Android phone or tablet? Thanks!

no issues with the phone and DJi? happy with screen and performance? Just got my mini2 and DAMN my phone is not 100% ARHARHARAHR.

Need to buy something 2nd hand ASAP.

Is the phone only Android 7 ? I don't know if that is a risk, if future updates to DJi might increase minimum spec to greater than 7.0 ?

Hi,

I have my device now 5 years in use for flying DJI drones, no problem at all!
Running Android 7.1.1.  I have no idea ofcourse how long DJI will support this version.

But i f you can buy for little money a good second hand MAX3, go for it....   ;-)

great. THANKS for quick response. I'm already ebay hunting. i've got the dji mini 2 controller. You don't think the phones will be too big to fit into the slot on the controller? yes, I can see Max 3 for not much more price on ebay. I guess a slightly bigger screen and everything slightly improved to Max2.

dimensions:
max2 > 174.1 x 88.7 x 7.6 mm (6.85 x 3.49 x 0.30 in)
max3 > 176.2 x 87.4 x 8 mm (6.94 x 3.44 x 0.31 in)

Max2 just fit, so max3 does not fit in the clamps.

But i use seperate holder for my devices, use also the xiamo pad4  7.9 inch.
