With the re-release of the comsumer version of the Phantom 4 Pro.  Does any one know when or if new firmware is coming.  If so, will it support both the V2 and the V1 Phantom 4 Pros.   Or is support for the V1 completely gone interms of firmware?

I don't have any specific knowledge one way or the other, but I personally would be very surprised to see a new firmware update for the original P4P.  It has been nearly 2 years (22 months) since the last firmware update and over 3 years since the drone was introduced.

DJI did just release a new firmware update for the P4Pv2 on Christmas day.

Or is support for the V1 completely gone in terms of firmware?    
The P4 pro is over three years old and a mature product.
It works just fine.
There's no need for any additional firmware releases for it.

I am considering purchasing the Phantom 4 v2.0, but only if it will work with the Smart Controller, I currently have the Phantom 4 Pro+ in my Shopping Cart, with 2 additional Batteries, Does DJI have any plans to add Smart Controller integration for the P4P anytime soon?

Good point!  Hence this post.  Firmware updates will allow for that type of integration.
