Just needed a few more inches to clear a bush. Hitting the bush must have made it go into RTH due reaching angle limits. The mini fell out of the bush and before I knew what was happening it bounced off the ground and flew up in a tree. I first tried to cut the throttle but I think it went into RTH. After it bounced around in the tree I final got it together and did a CSC on the sticks for emergency shutdown and it fell to the ground. No damage..... I lucked out.

Interesting. It did not shut off after being tumbled around like that?

0:14 is funny ;-) Interesting why the drone suddenly tried to shoot into the sky. But I don't think it was an RTH ... if it was, what kind of RTH should it have been ... a "I' m confusing, thats why I have to go home RTH" ?

Was the drone within 20m ? If so it shouldn’t rise up in Rth it should land.

Wow, got dizzy just watching MM going wild.  Glad to hear that you had no visible damage.

Good point. I think it was probably just with in 20 meters of the home point. So it should rise up and then land in place and not actually go to the home point ?

Wouldn't make sense, first rise, then sink at the same point ;-) As I said, I doubt there was an automatically RTH, except you have initiated it manually.

No it will just land no going up, the reason it went up is most likely bottom sensors and this would be correct .

Hmmm, I’m sure I didn’t initiate manual RTH. I’ll try and upload the flight data

In the log the climb after thouching the ground the first time is not written
The vertical speed is only downwards and not upwards.
Your CSC was not recognised as not all 4 directions were at 100%, see data in the chart.

Glad your MM is still alive!
