Hello Community!
So yesterday I was about to walk my dogs when I saw some crazy fog thru the window, there were many indicators telling me do not fly, one UAV Forecast, not super windy but a bit, the wind was blowing against my home position, it was getting dark, it was cold, and I was rushing since the fog was dissapearing fast... but it was awesome so I took the risk.
Took this shot using 5 exposures, even though only used 3 in post, hope you like it!

Wow, really nice. What Software do you use to combine the photos?

I open them in lightroom, select them and "open in photoshop as layers" I then "align layers in photoshop" and export layers as separate files, then back to lightroom "merge to HDR", the result looks  very contrasted but you can then lower the highlights and rise the shadows to gain detail.
Hope it helps!

Thanks for the words!
Yeah, I tested a manual RTH with 90% battery to test speed and was Ok, also made sure I RTH with 60% battery just in case, didn't want to risk it more and it worked!

Sounds like you have a lot of experience using lightroom and photoshop.  I'm new to photography and still trying to learn Filmora.

Well yeah, I've been a photographer for almost 20 years, and love video editing for a while too Photoshop is just one of those pieces of software, once you learn is an incredible toolkit, the thing with AEB is that there are always issues, aligning works better in photoshop, there are many other HDR programs around, but found them either limited or delivering bad results.

Hello and good day InspektorGadjet. Thank you for sharing this stunning photo you have captured using your DJI Mavic Mini. The scenery looks amazing. Just a reminder that flying in heavy fog or clouds may make the gimbal wet, leading to temporarily failure. The gimbal will recover it's full function once it is dry. For reference I will post some Flight Environment Requirements. Again great work and fly safe always.

Hello DJI Stephen, glad you like the picture!
I know about the fog, but as you can see I was 400m away from the heavy fog, which also was around 200m lower in altitude, I always try to be over cautious

It is always my pleasure and it is great to know that you always fly with caution. Again thank you for your valued support and fly safe always.

Hallmark007 gave me a great photography book recommendation and also a website with a wealth of knowledge and some really informative videos.  Amazing how much I need to learn.

That's beautiful.  I'm glad you took the chance and made the effort to capture the scene at the right moment.  And you did a great job with the flying, capture, and processing.  It looks great.

Great photo!
Btw, no need to go through Photoshop... you can do it directly in Lightroom and check the "align" checkbox after getting the first hdr preview

I know! however lightroom failed to properly align some images, only my process delivered consistent results. Will keep testing!

Great shot, just a question ... I am a 99% Lightroom user, why did you go into PS to align vs the align in merge to hdr in Lightroom ? So far I am happy with LR only merge, but now wondering what I maybe miss . Thank you

Well somehow, align in lightroom delivered weird "ghosting", after some tries I did that in photoshop, I always this all of this AEB and panoramas post processing in photoshop, so I'm used to it.

Merging to HDR in photoshop also delivered somehow changing results, so is good to test different procedures in order to get the best outcome.
Glad you like the picture!

You are welcome! In fact you can do all in lightroom, or photoshop, pretty sure is doable in other software too, only a matter of taste and understanding of the tool I guess.
Happy flying, and happy AEB!!
