Forum members might be interested in a collection of O’ahu shoreline videos and 360-degree photos that I’ve put on the website, www.oahupictures.org.

  

As a long-time (until recently) resident of the island, I’ve videoed the entire shoreline (first with a Phantom 4 and then with a Mavic Pro and a Mavic 2 Pro) except for stretches that are off limits because of manned air traffic (along the north shore from Haleiwa to Kaena Pt. and from Kahe Pt. around Barber’s Pt. to Ala Moana Park).

  

I prepared the website for documentary purposes and potentially for educational purposes. In a few years, for example, it will be enlightening to see how much the sea has eaten away at the land due to sea-level rise.

  

All the videos are on my You Tube channel.

As I understand YouTube rules, channels are given URLs if they have at least 100  subscribers. My channel has not attracted enough subscribers to qualify, probably because most of the videos are of locations on the island unknown to non-Oahu residents or are not touristy enough to interest visitors to the island. But, as I said, the videos are all linked to YouTube via www.oahupictures.org.

Every channel has an url.
Just click on 'your channel' under the account button (top right)
It will take you to your channel.
Just paste that URL.

You still have an url, but you can't customize it.
It looks something like this

Only after 100 subscribers you can make a custom url.

PS, you probably want to put your channel to 'not made for kids'.
You can set that in your channel settings as your default!

I have added 4 subscriptions from my 4 channels
So that should give you a bit of a boost

Yeah I have more.
But these 4 will have drone footage.
I originally only had one, but I have several interests that do not overlap.
So I thought it was a good idea to make seperate channels for those.
That way viewers only were bothered with stuff they would probably like.
But then youtube decided you need at least 1000 subs and so many views per year to get monetization....
So I did regret my decision.
But later on I decided it was better to create content that I liked and not bother about the little money I was getting from it.
That was a good decision.
I also host 2 more channels for no drone related purposes.
So in total it is 6 right now

It's interesting to me that the responses to my original post have been about my YouTube channel and not my website. As I expected and planned for, the latter is probably of most interest to Hawaii residents and expats--particularly the 360-degree photos, which allow the viewer to zoom in on areas of interest.

Ah ok.
Youtube has some limitations on the 'kids' video's.
Mainly about comments and personalized ads (so YT will place non personalized ads....)

You mean go live as in stream live video?
