I have just updated my Mavic Pro to the latest firmware using Win 10 and the DJI Assistant.
The failure has left the recently replaced remote controller unlinkable with the drone and not recognised in the go 4 app. It hs also left the drone battery in a useless state. The middle two LEDs remain on for a minute, they go off for a second and then on again. The battery cannot be switched off or charged. (Red light on the 4 port charger) and no light activity, other than mentioned.
I will have to try other things, but I am quite anoyed with the process for firmware updating, devised by DJI. The posibility of bricked electronics should be avoided in design.
As far as I can tell, the drone seems to be OK, but obviously, this cannot be checked as things stand.
The RC cannot be encouraged to link with the drone.
Has anyone had this experience and found a resolution?
I have been using DJI products since 2016, so in that respect, I am not a novice.
