At the National Museum of the United States Air Force.

It was a below freezing day when she flew to the museum.  I took video but it come out well (plane landed far from crowd and even though it's arrival was delayed because of weather, it kicked  up a mini bizzard.  Looked a Mini in the air AND on display.

Drones ARE NOT permitted (active base) but I will note that mini FPV's have flown inside!  Also note that AMA/RC events have happened outside.  Perhaps a outside drone event in the future?

Controlled airspace.  I was at the museum for the unveiling of the static B-17 "Memphis Belle" and enjoying flybys other B-17s...

I was fortunate enough to visit the NMUSAF twice.  There are so many  exhibit areas you can spend all day and then some looking.  This beast  was prominently displayed.  Wouldn't this be cool to fly?

"we have indoor heat in Ohio!"  LOL.  This is true but getting to and from the NMUSAF your weather is much colder.  I see where your daily highs right now are in the mid to upper 30s.  At my location the daily highs right now are in the mid 70s.  I enjoy running around all "winter" in a t-shirt so I'll hold off coming back up north for that visit until summer.
