why did you post this?

so someone could review the 3 posts that end up here and then claim there have been less than 4 incidents with Mavic Mini?

because that is what will happen.  you're just looking for attention. /s

Why shouldn't I?

Maybe I've stolen you the idea of listing here accidents and losts?

I pressed RTHome and it worked too well, he went back to China.

That's the main problem with longer flight time of the MM...

Hope was not shot over Middle East...

You know there's a lot more direct route from Canada to China...

And no flyaways or crashes with my MM. Just some iffy behaviour that I hope will be sorted out eventually...

I hit a tiny little branch of a tree today because of stupidity (just with like 1 km/h). I saw it in the last moment but was in f***** P-Mode so it reacted too slow, to get backwards.
The Mini fell down ~3 meters, sadly there was a little piece of stone and it hit directly the Gimbal, which is broken now. Luckily I got Care Refresh.
I learned a lesson: I'm an Idiot.
Also i learned, that this little device is not even a little durable/resistant, so I will take the most care I ever took to any of my electronic devices, when I will get a new/refurbished one back.
This mustn't ever happen again.
And also I learned, I will never ever fly again in P-Mode because of this shi* response time. Either Sports or Cine when there's nothing around.

Well we see a big drop in new users loosing their drones due to flying in high winds, it kind of made good sense that flying in winds rated for this drone was the correct way forward .

I have flown it in high winds, not that bad; of course I went counterwind and back, but i was able to manage a 20 knots wind.
Sport mode.
Even at a good altitude, hovering, it fights the wind in a very good way

I'm all for DJI and everything but the Mavic Mini mass flight reliability defect is unacceptable.  People will confuse their higher-end models to be as bad as the Mini.  Not all have failed of course but doing  65mph+ in at least 1 video is pretty crazy.

Might as well put a 480p feed w/ low latency and make it a racer drone w/ that kind of potential.  It totally sucks making your own.  I've hit a lot of roadblocks building a DIY up again.  You have to pool in resources from multiple resources for it to even work.
