a silly crash, the mini is fine, but now i notice that the lens protector glass is missing ! are there replacement parts for it ?  I can place a lense filter for the moment, but the lens is going to unprotected. How do i get parts for this.

Your best bet might be to try contact a moderator here and they can check with dji for you, I don’t believe they are sold separate and it could be costly sending it in to be replaced, but a clear filter might help .

My worst fear was that it could not be obtained separately. Was hoping that a Mod would spot my post

I agree with Hallmark.  I doubt this is a part available separately.  On the plus side, it really should not affect camera performance.  Early DJI drones like the P2 Vision, P2 Vision+, & P3 Standard lack a lens shield & all worked well.

maybe for those cameras, the lens was built tougher as it was meant to be exposed. For the mini, it was not meant to be exposed. thats my worry.

If you can't get it replaced/repaired, try this. Should fit usually.

My Mini also crashed to the lens and the Protector glass fell of. I had one of these glasses in the link overlayed and it acutally kept the rest of the broken original glass together, so I think a little bit of glue and these protectors should be a good and cheap option for you.

No, my whole Gimbal is destroyed. I have to send it in. But when it fell down, the protection-glass was still alive but the original was not. I just wanted to say, that this will fit and is cheap (and of course better than no glass at all in my opinion)

I attached a screen protector meant for MM. For my satisfaction, i also placed an UV filter to ensure extra protection in the event the screen protector does fail.

The screen protector is from China of course, i could not find any higher class of option.

But the protector was perfect. It stuck to the lens slot as if it was an original replacement.  I mean real perfect fit. Thank God.

As for IQ, it seems there isnt any affect, but that is just a view on a 27” screen.

How much did the lens repair cost you?

It was a very reasonable cost, converting to USD its about $4.42. That was because i bought it locally in Malaysia. If i ordered it from China, that would have been $1.75 !  The product is the same though. Two pieces in the package.

Do not use cyanoacrylate or contact glue. I believe you should use some double face butyl tape or similar, it will ensure weather sealing. You just need to punch a hole as per the original for where the camera hole goes.

The camera optic circle is not centered behind the protective rectangular with rounded sides element. The hole in the adhesive material should theoretically copy the lens circle on blacked-out area of the original protective element.

Я тоже сломал линзу и помогите. Hyperfocal не работает должным образом. Нет фокуса. Фокусировка только до 1 м. ((((

Did you ever find the right glue to install the lens cover? On th DJI Mini?

I had a crash as well and the front glass was lost, I bought a full Gimbal frame and ripped the glass from it ..
