I have also a Mavic Air. I put the spark on risky situations (low value in case of things goes wrong).

This vid was made entirely with ActiveTrack and no RC (just phone on wifi).

I’m going to be hated for saying this but I thought it was somewhat reckless. I’m not familiar with Brazilian SUAS regulations but I doubt they deviate much from that of other countries.

Nothing wrong with filming yourself on a track or out on a trail, but right next to a busy highway relying on active track?  It was more luck than management that this didn’t end badly for you, or worse, for some innocent third party.

I am very experienced "AT flyer". I know exactly how the drone behaves, so all the risk was really well calculated. On top of that, the "lit up" phone with a big X (stop) button was easily accessible on the bicycle´s handlebar. And, actually, just one shot was made on highway shoulder, in all the others the drone was offside away from road.

But, for sure, even calculated, there was a risk

About laws, here in Brazil we´re allowed to cycle in freeways and highways.

It is by design. Spark and Mavic Air, both, can be controled just by phone (with no RC) - Mavic Pro also.

I've tried connected w/ just itself way back w/ the spark but it won't do it.

I had it connected to Wifi the first hour I got it after a full battery charge but the app doesn't see it.  I haven't tried since..  I got scared also when I saw vids of the signal being lost close-by and it just lands.  With the controller, at least you can still control it even if the app isn't ready.

If your PC is slow can you upload all the files online and the save file of w/e software you used so I can render it how it should be?  The video seems great but the 360p is just ruining it.
