Had my drone up and was a=happily grabbing some footage of Wint Wetlands in Aus and When I looked around I saw a Wedge Tailed Eagle close so I tried to quickly return the Drone back to me (and the Eagle followed mind you) and safely landed. When I checked the footage here is what I captured - I don't think it was actually attacking just curious I believe but they are known to attcak and crash drones.

Hi. Thank you for sharing this cool video you have filmed. That was definitely a close one. In addition, birds are part of our environment and they are not that familiar with drones and other flying objects, that is why they might react aggressively when they notice this said objects in the sky. WOW - he got pretty close and I think you got lucky - great video

I've heard that when your drone is attacked by birds the best action is to vertically ascend quickly to an altitude above the bird.
I've had success with this action against seagulls - but can't comment how it would work with an eagle
