Well,  call me blind I guess.  I just finished upgradeing my Mavic 2ED...lookingfoward to panoramic photos.  Silly question...how do I set mode to take
panoramic photos...


Also,  how do I access Atti Mode?

I have been through all selections and did not find it.

Yes...
The software went through 2 updates...first the aircraft and then the software on the remote / CrystalSky....reported back complete.  The Mav 2ED and the software worked as expected...I just can not find atti / pano mode...must be blind as a bat!

Turn on MFM, then select the desired mode: (S-P-T or S-P-A)

Thank you.  That was very helpful! I have something I can work with now.
No, I do not have the software switch available.  Guess that is why I can't find it.  It must also be true of the panorama setting and why I can not find it either.

For the record -- Pilot Software reports back "latest version"
app:          v1.6.1
aircraft:     01.01.0640 (check for updates -- latest firmware)

remote:     01.01.0410

Will any care to weigh in on why the update reported successful, yet I did not receive the feature upgrade?  DJI?

Now for the dumb question from the person who has computer experience dating back to DOS (!).  How do I get the silly thing to update through the onboard software?

Or, more importantly, I do I force an update when it is telling me it is up-to-date from the remote?

You have to download from here: https://service-adhoc.dji.com/do ... 0-b09e-45a82d31ce83

Then install the .apk manually by clicking on the downloaded file.

Thank you very much for that.  I had kinda came to that conclusion, however, I was hesitant of doing that w/o verification.

I was under the assumption (ahem) that the Pilot updated when I executed the two-part update last night.
Apparently, the Mav 2ED and something else updated, not the Pilot app.  I thought the Pilot App updated.  My fault.

I had started downloading the 1.7.0 update when you replied to my "confusion"   Thank you for pointing that out
to me.  It is appreciated.

I will let you know how things turn out in a little bit.

leave the pilot app to be updated as something you have to do for yourself.

Am I missing something?

Bingo...Update took...I have both features and right where I thought it would be.

The new features are only available on Adroid system. Not iOS !

Does this firmware update in any way effect the height restrictions or change any height limits?  Is max altitude reset to 120m in this update?
