This edit is the best footage I got from my DJI Mavic 2 Pro during the entire year of 2019.  
A lot of the footage is from Finnmark in the far north of Norway. Above the Arctic Circle.  Both summer and winter.
The part where I used active track to follow my car was done in pretty heavy winds, so I was very impressed about the capabilities of this drone!

Thanks! Playing on the ice is always fun   The location is in finnmark, Norway. Above the arctic circle.  Going back there in the end of the month to capture even more fun!

Do you have to worry about how thick the ice is at that time of the year?

That was filmed in late April last year and the ice was around 40-50 cm thick, so nothing to worry about.   One need to be careful where the river flows in or out of the lake as the ice will melt quicker in those areas.  
It is very visible if you pause the video at 3:13, the dark blue area in top left corner is open water. a river flowing in the the lake.   You can see how the ice is dark blue in the same direction as the river flows.  I would not walk on the ice in that particular area, just to be safe.
