I've been a little quiet on here for the past few months. In May my wife was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, despite a lengthy operation and 6 sessions of chemotherapy, Sara died at the end of December.
Yesterday, here at Wymondham Abbey we held the service to celebrate her life. The Vicar very kindly let me place my Osmo Pocket into the Organ "loft" to film the events; we have elderly family members who could not make the journey. The DJI Osmo Pocket recorded the service in 4K and still had battery life left.
The lighting is not great, but not only will our relatives be able to see and hear the service, I have very precious memories to look back on.
Here's the last 5 minutes where myself and other family members carried Sara's coffin from the Abbey.
That's very touching, and thank you for sharing this with us. I am very sorry to hear of your loss - hopefully you have memories captured with photos and videos from better times, but at the end of the day, nothing is better than the memories in your heart and mind.
I for one look forward to further contributions from you here, when the time is right.
Best use of a camera is to capture the moment of our loved one. Whether it is a happy moment or a sad moment.
Thank you for sharing a meaningful way the camera can be used.
