I've been searching a lot, but it's hard to filter results so I just want to ask someone directly.

I'm using the Ronin S with the A7sii and the Tamron 28-75mm.

Why can I not pull focus with the focus wheel? I purchased the multi-camera control cable which I thought would solve the problem, but when I twist the wheel it tries to zoom.
I've read tutorials and as far as I can see everything is set up accordingly, camera set to manual focus etc.

I'm pretty tired to be honest - being able to pull focus while moving was one of the key reasons I bought the kit.
Do I need something else?

Hi topaztock, sorry for the inconvenience caused, Sony A7S II supports two cables: RSS-IR and MCC-Multi. Unfortunately, neither of them supports pulling focus at the moment, please check the details below.
If you need the follow focus feature, it is recommended to purchase the Focus Motor, which can be used with the Ronin-S Focus Motor to control the focus, iris, and zoom.

Can you give me more information on triggering the autofocus?

It's tricky to find out information with this kit with so many cameras having similar names!
