I sent my drone in for repair and they "don't have" my battery.  It melted and caused the drone to crash, I used my DJI Care Refresh to replace the drone and they told me that they don't have my battery and that I hit a tree, lol, along with the GPS coordinates, including height which show, no tree.  I'm out the cost of a battery and $120 Drone replacement fee.  I'd definitely catalog and have a way to prove each and every part you send them (Las Cerritas, CA repair facility), especially the batteries, which have known melting issues.
