Introduction:

Do you remember your first time flying a drone? How did it feel to make your drone soar through the air and shoot stunning content? Tell us the story of your first time flying and include original photos or video content for a chance to win DJI Forum’s “My First Flight” contest! Winning submissions will be eligible for prizes, including DJI Credit and special prizes for content shot with a DJI Mavic Mini!

  

Rules:

  

1.      Post a new thread in the “Events” section of DJI Forum and include the tag #MyFirstFlight to be eligible for the contest.

2.      Share photos or video content captured during your first time flying a drone and include a written version of your experiences. A majority of the images and footage in your submission must have been taken using a DJI product.

3.      Content shot on Mavic Mini will be eligible to win exclusive prizes.

4.      The contest is open to anyone, and content taken using all DJI drone models will be accepted.

  

   

How to Enter:
  

1.      Got to forum.dji.com, and log in using your existing DJI account information or create a new one.

2.     On the top menu bar, click “Events” and then “New Thread.”

  

  

3.      Under “Select a topic type,” choose “My First Flight .”

4.      Create an interesting title for your submission that includes the tag #MyFirstFlight.

5.      Write an interesting post describing your experience flying a drone for the first time, then embed or upload your photos/videos to the post and submit it.

6.      Make sure to regularly respond to user comments in the thread to stimulate discussion. Sharing tips, tricks, and advice is a great way to grow the DJI drone community!

Announcement of Results: 03/19/2020  

  

   

Additional Guidelines:

1.      Award-winning submissions from previous forum contests are not eligible for this contest.

2.      Contestants must guarantee the authenticity and originality of all submissions. Watermarks can be added, but this may decrease a submission's chance of winning. Any submissions containing counterfeit or pirated content will result in the immediate disqualification of the contestant, and they will be held liable for any consequences that result from their submission.

3.      Contestants are welcome to make submissions featuring a variety of content, but submitted works must not contain obscene or violent content or content that violates any local laws and regulations.

4.      Contestants capturing content with UAV-based aerial photography platforms should fly their aircraft safely and in accordance with all relevant local laws and regulations.

5.      DJI reserves the right to use all submitted content on official DJI media channels, including but not limited to the official DJI website, DJI Store, and DJI Forum.

Honestly my first flight with the Mini wasn't great. Made a video highlighting shaking and poor control in wind. I'll have to re-edit my footage to portray the Mini in a better light.

Really, $40 or another charging base for the winning entries?  Man, how cheap can you be as a company?  It isn’t worth the effort, time, nor the use of our photos for such a dismal prise. Next time make it a real contest or don’t waste our time.

Idk why i cant join the content  #myfirstflight using my acc . So i’m going to upload my video here , with the title WHEN YOUR DJI DRONE AROUND THE BAY.  ENJOY !!!

How do I change my user name and photo?

Hi I cannot get djiforum or skypixel to allow me to upload my #myfirstflight video? Either from my iPhone which I used the DJI Fly app to create the video or from my laptop. Please help
