It's the second week of February 2020 in England and its freezing outside averaging 8ºC! We've packed our suitcases and on our way to Heathrow for a long-haul flight to our honeymoon destination. I've got my Mavic Mini in my hand luggage and I'm so pumped taking my own epic shots which I've seen all over Instagram. Now this isn't the first time I've taken a drone abroad before, however it was a huge and bulky drone which needed its huge separate case. Needless to say I was nervous about flying it. I took it up once, it was so loud and intrusive and I was so spooked about using it, didn't fly it again.
But the Mavic Mini is different, it’s so much more convenient and easier to use, it’s so small and I felt much more confident with it. The features to get those epic shots with ease was a major plus point too.
So the day after we landed, we took to the skies, my wife and I watched as we took in the most incredible scenes appearing before our very eyes on the screen. Its hard to describe, you get to see a whole new perspective of the place you've only seen from one angle! As the Mavic soared higher with ease using the quickshot you experience the rush of watching you dwarf and see the immense sense of scale of the place you're standing. With a place like this, the Mavic Mini was the perfect tool to capture the memory and character of the place, completely effortlessly! When we got back we watched back the footage and it was absolutely JAW DROPPING!
It's an amazing bit of kit and I cannot wait to fly again!!
What do you think of the footage? Can you guess where we went?
