High winds always risky so took old p4 out today 40+ mph winds (dont try and take off from ground) hand lauch with a tilt ,but makes for nice clouds

Nice job with the P4.  Holds steadier in the winds than any other.

Wow those are stunning!  The colors are so rich.  Did you use any filters and did you do any post-production work to the photos or is that straight from the camera?  Thanks for sharing!

Hi only shot with my p4 12 meg in raw. then photoshop the raw hope that helps

yes its a star did not even need sport mode upwind and it was blowing a gale only prob is having to crop out props unless flying back ward

Had a similar problem Saturday. Didn't seem windy at home, but where I went was just blasting. Phoebe the Spark fought the wind bravely, but I didn't get the shots I had in mind before I brought her back and went home. Perhaps parts of the video are salvageable.

Yes weather has been shocking here in uk for weeks now. hence i just chucked up the p4 in wild air. its ok where i live dont need to worry about buildings just sheep lol  like you nothing around for miles.

I live practically right next to an airport. Have to go a few miles.

There is some beautiful empty land. They keep horses where I shot that, and I wanted to get a good shot of them, but just too windy for my Spark.

Fantastic sky,  not sure I would have the nerve to fly in that.

Only with p4 DAF i find the mavics tricky to catch in high winds
