thanks , birds didn't even pay attention...though they got startled by something, as seen in the video, which might have been the drone coming down on them. I was also quite high. But i also made several videos and pictures on the same spot over the weekend and this time they were more relaxed and i could go very low, like 10m, above them. But come to think of it, there was a bit of a wind and a lot of birds flying around, so on taking off several took interest of the drone, had to hover a bit and lower altitude several times...apart from that they were avoiding the drone.

I sometimes have problems with (mainly) swallows flying around the drone....
(and ruining the shot)

i would be more afraid from something bigger than swallows...and with them flying around you can get actually some good shots with a bit of luck. Anyway i was thinking about that and considering to put a bright orange-red sticker on top of the drone for just in case to keep birds away. If i get more trouble from them i guess i will do it in the near future.
