Hello! I got my interest to fly drones from my kids Hubsan X4(?). It sure can fly, but the camera really sucks! I bought myself a Phantom look a like toydrone called Syma X8W. It also had at bad camera, but I change that to a fpv camera called Mobius. Did at DIY anti jello effect mount too! Sadly, I flew that drone too far away, lost radio contact and the rest is history. In the early spring of 2016, I bought a second hand Phantom 2. I was so impressed over how steady it was, and really so much easier to fly that those toy drones I had before! Unfortunately, the winter came back, with some hard snowing so I got not so much flying time at that time. This P2 version hand no gimbal, and no camera so therefore I had no video from its maidens flights. But, later and after some practice time I decided to buy a gimbal to it, from Zenmuse. Of course, second hand. I did not have the money for a Gopro, but we already had a Xiaomi Yi and it worked as a substitute, with some coins as extra weights... The set gave me no fpv. No, you had to guess where the camera was pointing, and at what angle to the ground. Just after I got my hands on the gimbal me and my family went on Easter vacation to my grandparents. They live at a part of Sweden called The High Coast, in the north, and I know that there was a beautiful river nearby. So why not try the new gimbal/camera at that place? (I mean what could possibly go wrong...?) I have to mention that I did not have any camera view, on that drone... So, me and my thrilled/nervous grandfather took the car to the river, beside a bridge. We set the drone up at I started to fly and film! - I think that the raw footage weren't so bad at all!
