Me too. May be they use the design of smart controller. I love if they can combine Osmo Pocket camera with this.
I think with business strategies now, we may have some feature back like: terrain following, fix wing mode but may loose some. Let's wait until it official. I may consider to get one beside my Air right now.

It looks like the one that Phantom is using.
A bit smaller of course, but more similar.

I'm not sure about this remote id, you would think the drone would have to send this and not the controller.

I do not know but we should see a flood of leaks in the coming weeks, what I do know if it comes with “enhanced WiFi “ the can keep it. If it comes with ocusync then I will buy it....

I would think that most of the remote Id crap would be in the controller if possible to keep the weight down on the quad?

They did the same w/ the Mini.  I think it's 100% legit especially considering the low-profile motor height to have more endurance than performance.

100% true.
For all we know it might just be as fake as most of the other 'leaked images'.
It was just a coincidence since we just talked about the need of a EASA compliant drone and the minute I was replying, I read about this 'news'

For Grip-ability?
Make controller to small, and it would be hard to hold and use joysticks / buttons.
