Hi .
My DJI fpv Air unit is only recording at 1440x1080 instead of 1920x1080.  Is this normal or do I have a defective unit?

Hi, thank you for reaching out and we're sorry for the inconvenience. May I ask if you have the option to record before an 1920x1080 or since then you don't have this option? Also, can you please check under FPV option > Settings > Recording Settings > Then set it as 1080p/60 to see if the problem persist. Furthermore, please make sure that you have the updated firmware for the DJI FPV Air unit to avoid any possible issues. You may refer to the image below. Hope this helps. Thank you!

If camera is set to 4:3, the video is 1440x1080.  If set to 16:9, it is 1920x1080.

Can you confirm this is how it is supposed to work?

I can’t confirm that it is supposed to work like that, but it is how mine works. I have 3 air units. The video quality is amazing by live FPV standards, but I run a GoPro. The video is noticeably better on a GoPro or Osmo Action.
