Since we are not (yet) under quarentine, I decided to see if I could get some shots of the Jupiter Inlet. Sadly, all the parts ARE closed, so I had to stand inland a bit outside of a closed resturant. Still, I was abel to get sone decent shots.

Since I love the iconic Jupiter Lighthouse, I thought I would post this one first.

Cheers!

It's a beautiful place but if you mind a constructive critique there's too much flattened highlights and shadows (where my eye likes to search for details)... this doesn't seem something straight out of the camera. On days like that I tend to correct the exposure between -0,33 and -0.67 EV.

Thanks for the critique. I'm still learning how to edit photos and with this picture I learned that I hate editing photos on my camera.

I truly appreciate your input.

I edit my quick snaps with Snapseed app, very powerful... I'd say far more practical than a Gimp and almost as effective (or even better) as Photoshop for speed and practicality.

In case you're interested: https://play.google.com/store/ap ... ware.snapseed&hl=en
Keep up the good work!

Thanks. I will see if there's an iOS version of this app and try it out.

Again, appreciate your help.

Thanks again. I had not noticed this post before I commented on the inlet one. For a short time I lived in one of the small houses in the lower right part of the photo when I was in the CG in the early 70's. It was a great elevated waterfront view for we lowly military enlistees. The local millionaires could only dream of it. "Sorry Burt, I have a better view than you do" ;-)

The officers' housings were the inland ones to the left of the lighthouse. No view for them. Justice!

Ok, now you have me inspired to go out to Anclote Island in my boat and fly/shoot the lighthouse there! Stay tuned. It's almost always windy there, so..... pray for me and Mini ;-)

Very cool!

I would have loved to been here back in those days.
