Might be a good idea saving our 1.0.6 app before you upgrading.

how would you do that on iPhone?  save old app or rollback....

in the meantime, i have turned off auto updates

i have no sluggishness issues on 1.0.8 using an iPhone 11 Pro. The only gripe with the new version is not seeing the image when adjusting the WB. And obviously, not having the WB directly in the camera view but it is what it is.

I found it had already installed on my Samsung S7. It features MANUAL WHITE BALANCE!!!!!!

I am still seeing versos 1.0.6 on the US Apple app store.

Just checked the app store on my ios today and it shows the new ver. 1.0.8

Still no manual controls for ISO/Shutter speed but manual WB is not bad for now.

No, it doesn't. It says it addresses crashes, it's talking about app crashes, not drone crashes.

Yesterday updated my iPhone XR to DJI Fly 1.0.8 from the App Store. Today i flew 3 times indoors with prop guards installed in all modes with no issues. Manual White Balance is available in the Camera Advanced Shooting Settings.

In the description in the play store it said this is the version 1.0.8 installed on my huawei p20 lite. In the app itself it said 1.0.6. I tried do download from the dji site and installed but it still showed 1.0.6.
So I finally  de-installed and re-installed from the play store and so it finally worked out, I'm on version 1.0.8 now.

Would it be better to upgrade via DJI Assistant 2. Would get the batteries updated at the same time ?

Glad to report everything seems fine with 1.0.8 with my Samsung S9+. Just hovered inside w/ propeller guards, letting my batteries discharge to a safe level for storage.

Noticed the new modes for Signal loss, manual White balance feature and re-discovered a feature I wasn't using: tap to expose.

RTH, LAND, HOVER., be advised if you change to either land or hover, failing to reset to RTH May result in loss of drone, I’m waiting for the first person to post loss of signal drone didn’t RTH .

If you have a huawei device, turn off automatic update in AppGallery, there is 1.0.6 the last version, and when the AppGallery make update for your app installed in device, in fact make rollback from 1.0.8 at 1.0.6, at least that hapend to me.

My MM#1 uses a Samsung phone and that did not auto update. I just updated it manually. Works ok in my living room;-) I haven't looked for much else yet.

MM#2 uses a Samsung tab that is not approved and will not update, of course. It will stay at 6 until I can find the apk for it
