it is not just on android, the zoom is also very bad on IOS (iPhone 10) there simply is no way to smoothly control the zoom speed with the button at all making clean dolly zoom shots impossible . even set at the slowest zoom speed it doesn't move when you first use the button and then suddenly takes off too fast..
It also jumps incrementally far too easilly if you accidentally tap the button instead of hold which is not easy to control .. this definitely needs more work, other apps do zoom very smoothly so it could be fixed quite easilly.
