Yes, it does

It is working fine for me.  I just wish that DJI would make a native screen for the iPad mini instead of forcing us to use 2x iPhone size.

The reason i asked is because i am planning to buy the mavic mini next week. I'm using my ipad mini 5 for my P4P.   Thanks guys !

Hi coco60, even other customers have given you suggestion, officially, DJI Fly is not fully compatible with iPad and tablets, there is no USB port in the RC and the tablets are hard be attached properly in design. Phones in our compatible list would have better performance.

BTW BobWinNV just repply to me that he is using ipad mini 5 presently, so it must be working ???  ...or someone is lying to me !!  LOL

My Mini 5 works well

Every Mini works except the first one because it was a 32b processor

You need an other cable, longer than the one sell with MavicMini, OTG lightning to micro USB found in Webshop like Amaz on arround 8 $...

Shop around for the longer cable if you want the most convenient orientation of the connectors. It took me a while to find one for my Samsung Tab A that would stay out of my way ;-)

Will a third party relatively cheap connector such as those on Ebay or Amazon make bad intermittent connection  or will it be good enough ?

Glad to see that the IPad Mini works - I am personally planning to try to use the Ipad Air 2019(Larger screen) - I don't think the iPad air 2 will work, seems like its too old. Best of luck to you!

Do you have a photo of what your screen looks like - My brother flies a M2P on an IPad and his screen looked full and filled the screen so I'm just confused (Im an android user so apple is foreign to me)

It fills most of the screen after you press the 2x button in the lower right corner but it is obvious that it is just using an iOS screen doubled in size instead of having it's own native screen and taking advantage of the extra screen real-estate.  The M2P uses DJI Go 4 which was developed for the iPad screens correctly.
