At the moment you will just have to use the slider to gauge what you feel is right as different bulbs produce different Kelvin numbers.  
But one good technique is to bring up your white balance control and try to match as closely as possible what u are filming with what is being shown on the screen. Keep looking at back and forth from the "subject" to your screen and try to match as closely as possible. Hope this helps.
